• Re: beo-5

  • Re: New Firmware 6.01.01

Nope, got that issue today again. The only way to resolve it was rebooting the BM. Update: I just heard from my dealer that this issue was due to the fact I did not upgraded the software on my BV-10. So, Peter is right
But I am arguing against myself I think ... and at thr risk of depressing Stan even further I have to say the BM5/BS5 is a beautiful point solution - but its point is too fine/narrow ... it is very much a one trick show pony
Funny, I did the same as I was actually thinking the BS5/BM5 was way to expensive versus
Apple Lossless is not an open standard... Apple is not licensing it, so stop moaning at B&O.
May be you are right, I could not find any documentation on the net that fast. Although there is opensource code available enabling playing Apple Lossless (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Lossless). Probably
You guys are depressing me... Stan
Stan I believe you should say B&O is depressing people by simply not delivering on created expectations. I know from the start that it was an very expensive system compared to all other solutions available, including a € 300 Apple TV at that time. But it was expected

  • Re: IS B&O worth the money???
Just as an update to anyone who may be interested... I bought the Beo10 Both myself and wife are very happy with the looks, but one thing I probably would have taken into consideration more when we bought it... THE GODDAM REMOTE CONTROL!!! We opted for the standard remote because the upgraded version needed complete programming

  • Re: BS5/BM5 wishlist

I am using a lot of audio books, for which MOTS is not very usable either (although skipping some parts of books is sometimes a nice feature ). Also for a party or other circumstances a longer playlist than 99 numbers would be welcome to support to avoid either MOTS or having the capability to create my own list. And I fully support the requests for
I know for sure that many dealers do not even understand the issue, it's mostly something that affects one in a mac only environment or those who do not wish to use windows media.
I am afraid you quite right here. I checked with two dealers and both did not show any understanding of the issue. Unfortunately

  • Re: Is Beovision 7-55 too big for my livingroom?
The BV7 is a huge investment and hopfully your dealer will offer you a homedemo to convince you to make the right decission.
Seems to me that it is quite large (140.8cm x 87.5cm x 18.4cm) especially if you do not have a dedicated room. Pure from the perspective whether your room/viewing distance could handle the
