Yes, i think this all can be done. As long as you don't expect in your linkrooms to connect to both BS9000 you should be OK. For the link cable, this is specialized cable and while I believe in Europe there are 3rd part companies that sell it by the feet, in the US I don't know anyone. Your dealer definitly can provide you taht though, including

Are we talking masterlink cable? My understanding is that you can only have 1 audio master on the same network. You list 3 though. Or are we talking simply connecting the speakers to the audio&video systems? Cheers JK

Congratulations. Could you actually post a picture how that looks once you get it? Maybe we are all in for a surprise. I would really like to see how that looks. In the beginning I wasn't to keen with the BL7 look either but somehow got used to it. Cheers JK

If mediacentral works is difficult to anwser, while Ired simulates keystrokes that match what the mac remote has, you typically send these to a specific application. If you are patient and invest a few hours to learn you can come up with your own VRC. The template I have took me probably a weekend or so and I researched a lot to find a solution for

I think for TV it will be all right since it is broadcasted mostly in stereo to begin with. For DVD, speech may be a bit muddy and definilty not as clear as it would be with a center. What would bother me more is that most (all I know) mounting options are designed to have a center speaker below the TV so you might be staring at a clamp or the hole

I had lots of problems with the USB version (that I could work around though), however recent updates to my Imac and IRTrans fixed these. Personally I would take the Ethernet version if I had to choose right now, it seems that sometimes my USB version falls asleep and it takes a few seconds before it wakes up and reacts. I can't find out a logic

I still think that for MP3s Beomedia is the best choice, if you have a B&O TV and linkrooms. Otherwise, having these external infrared receiver attached to PC or Mac is pretty much as good as it gets. I am quite happy with my Imac and Frontrow, that I can fully operate through Beo4 except "On", for that I have to push a powerswitch. JK
