Not silly at all. Many of them don't. Just look on the back, the panel that has coax in and out, also has three more circular blanks and a little one above the three for the IR cable. If that has got a socket in it, then you surely have a STB controller. If it is still blank, you don't. Hope this helps. Andy T.

I agree Peter. That box is so much more pleasing than the one in my picture. The gold B&O on the outside looks like it came from the BeoVox 5000, the only place I can think of seeing it in gold....unless somebody knows different.

Yes there is, but it's hard to get to. Sub menus etc First go on the Media tab... Then click "Your life" for example Then click "Where I live" for example Now you will se the upload button. Andy T.

Hi Barry, and a warm welcome to BeoWorld. I can't see a problem as both the 5000 and the 9000 use Datalink for connection. HERE is some info on Datalink and compatible products. If I am wrong, someone will surely correct me shortly. Andy T.
