    I agree. And it doesn't make it better that the ideal placement on the wall would be at ear-height. That is when you sit down and listen. Many owner get this all wrong and place the speakers far too high, often close to the ceiling and that spoils the experience. Martin

    Looks fine, I agree. The replacements I was thinking about was also original woofers. Just factory new ones rather than some that stood on the shelf for 20 years. I think these are recent original replacements. A good buy ! Martin

    Not sure if this has already been tried or if it's any help at all: B&O Tech info BGT-3 describes a problem: "It has been found that in some cases the arm raises undesireably immediately after lowering when the set is connected to a voltage source apprx. 10% below the nominel."     The 1970's B&O are generally rare to see in white. I believe they were considered "cheaper" looking than the "elegant" wooden finishes and most white versions were actually slightly cheaper. Today, the white models are sought after, not only by collectors, and many people regard them as being more timeless design pieces.

    Inside the processor metal shielding and soldered to the board. Actually to be opened only by a trained tech guy in antistatic environment. Remember to reset the NVRAM after replacing the cell. Martin
