Sorry to say that the BeoSound 5 will likely be the only purely new product. From what I hear, though, there will be many tweaks, size variations, upgrades, etc. to the existing lineup.

I swear to god. If the BeoMaster 5 or any other product has Vista on it I will boycott the damn thing. I'm serious Bang! Are you listening!? I'm already uneasy knowing that Windows XP is furtively running somewhere in my house!

Stan, What is the part number on your PC input. We just recently went through a bit of trouble trying to get the right adaptors in and finally found success. I'll check the part # you post against what we have in stock and see if it matches. Apparently the ones we have are the only ones suited for this specific task. Also, it's been my experience

Expo, You are right on this. I have trained my fingers to avoid it fairly well (thank you piano lessons), but I believe that having the wheel shut down as soon as dialing begins would be a welcome change in software. I stand by my assertion, though, considering that I direct dial 1 call for every fifty or so I scroll to, whether in my phone book or

What I meant by the comparison to today's N.MUSIC browsing experience is that if you are not in front of your BeoPlayer software or looking at a screen with

I bet you had a cellular phone in your pocket! This is common with most loudspeakers and nothing to worry about. You should be able to replicate the experience to put your mind at ease.

TWG, I am indeed an employee of Bang & Olufsen. As for when we'll really see the BeoSound 5... can't say for certain. This fall is 90% certain I would say, but it will be later in the summer before we know much more about the product's release. I am also, by education at least, a psychologist specializing in "human factors"
