  • Re: Left beolab not behaving itself in standby! Help :O

Ah thank you! No, i did the cable check, so it's in the speaker, To be honest i have been waiting for it to happen, this speaker has never switched on and off (that click sound when it turns on), and it stays on, even if the switch is in the popped out position. I hope it doesn't cost more than a hundred pounds... i'm not very wealthy at

  • Left beolab not behaving itself in standby! Help :O

I just got home from work and switched everything on at the powerpoint, as i do, and while everything was sitting in standby, my left bl4000 was making an arcing sound and the light was glowing yellowy greeny reddy (as if it was being electrocuted)! When i power up the music system, the speaker stops arcing and operates green and sounds as it should

They are storming good speakers, sound good everywhere except outdoors, and are just timeless in their design. They have a different (nicer) timbre in the lower register than the 8000's, at half the price. Ridiculous! I'm not sure i want to upgrade to bigger beolabs... The statement i posted was sent to me courtesy of an ebay seller offering

  • Re: BeoSound 1

The Beosound 1 is such a cool B&O item to own. I've had one a while, it's the latest one, and when placed on it's stand in my relatively small bedroom, the sound is unbelievable for it's size/price, and yeas the Aux is super handy for connecting ipod/ beosound 2. If i had to find what was not good about the product, it would be the

  • Re: Apple TV with Beovision 3?

It would work no trouble! Just go into the menu when it's plugged in, highlight connections, and press menu on the beo4 to access 'camcorder' mode

  • Re: ZOMG!!! B&O are so far behind!!!

Sorry this is off topic, oh and i do agree, we mustn't attack one another on here it's a great place. It's un-called for... anywho, hey ed7, you said you've been once bitten, what happened?? I agree a new merc is better money spending - the new shape may also be a return to the good old fashioned 'over engineering' that was last
