Yes keith, what I am asking is what is the IRDesc code doing. I understand the other one (Plus Minus, SkipLeft, SkipRight, Menu...) but not this one. p.

White beolab 9 picture, just posted in another thread: http://picasaweb.google.dk/christianhaagerup/BOGeneralforsamling26Sept2008?authkey=uJh_Oy9TcQg#5250407537918989842

What will be the colour of the wall and cabinets, it it is white you may consider the white version of the BL9, they would disappear more. Beolab 8000 maybe? But if you can afford the Beolab 9, it would be a pitty to get something else just for decoration considerations.

You could send the Headphone socket from the BV into the A-AUX IN of the BS. But I would not recommand it as it would not bring any benefit considering you have Beolab speakers. Buy a cheap Beosound 3000 or Ouverture of eBay...

Why don't you get a quote from your dealer, they will have to contact their tech services, and you will know more about the feasability as well. If you like the price go with them, otherwise try the DIY solution. p.

I'd use the BL7.2 with a short BV Stand. Or I would put the TV on a wall bracket with either the BL 7.2 or 7.4/ Would the BL 9 look bad placed on top of the low cabinets, one at each end? In cinema mode, where would be the screen compared to the TV? p.

MKIII is thinner as it does not transport the display information. MKII is the thick cable and is more expensive. It is necessary when you have speakers with display (Penta, Beolab 4500) or speakers with ICEPower amplifiers. If you are going to do some building work to hide them, or if you plan to upgrade later to newer speakers get the MKII otherwise
