• Re: Where to get B&O Parts? Such as Speaker Grill Covers/Stands etc?

Spare parts are generally only available through authorized B&O dealers or service centres.
Same for me Graham - I've never had one of these solenoids apart as I've never come across one that was ceased up. It should move very freely. Chris.
Seized rather than ceased???

  • Re: Beogram 3000 tangential won't play

The plunger is the moving part of a solenoid and should be a sliding fit, as I understand. There have been posts on here in the past concerning dried lubricant in this area. I have to admit to never having had one apart despite re-building a number of this type of deck. Member medogsfat (Chris) may have direct experience here.
Ta da!! it worked with your suggestion. What happens if I ever want to use a two way?? Many thanks for your expertise!!
Just buy any 2-way remote like BL5000 or BL7000. However, neither are particularly reliable in my opinion although I'm sure that others will disagree!!! I'd recommend sticking with 1

  • Re: Beocenter 9500 and Beolink 1000
The 9500 is a two-way device and was typically used with a BeoLink 5000 or a BeoLink 7000. Therefore it is possible that your 9500 is set for a two-way remote and that's why it won't work with a BeoLink 1000. Try to set it in a one-way mode. I have no idea how to do it, but I'm sure someone who does will

The BC9500 may be in Option 0. Try re-setting to Option 1 With the BC9500 in Standby press SOUND, 1, STORE on the BL1000 The display on the BC9500 should read 1 momentarily and the remote should now control the BC

  • Re: PRIZE DRAW date. A rethink, perhaps??

Unfortunately I was in hospital and missed the draw, I believe for only the second time since we started. I admit to not being a poster since I cannot do with all the hearty congratulations and the like. I am afraid it is just not me. However, I do read all the posts as they come in and many of them give me a chuckle. I enjoy being with others who are

  • Re: Pickup-arm Beogram 7000
Agree with Chris - but the problem remains that the angle at which the arm is working away from the straight seems excessive. Certainly more than my one operates at.
Adjustment of the arm movement servo is also quite easy and is detailed in the service manual. Don't tell anyone but even I have managed it

  • Re: Turntable shelf
I was torn between "wanted" and "general" for this post, but settled on the latter... Someone used to advertise turntable shelves on ebay, which they had "improved" from the B&O design. Now that I need one, they seem to have stopped advertising. Can anyone here remind me who they are
