Same for me Graham - I've never had one of these solenoids apart as I've never come across one that was ceased up. It should move very freely. Chris.
Seized rather than ceased???

The plunger is the moving part of a solenoid and should be a sliding fit, as I understand. There have been posts on here in the past concerning dried lubricant in this area. I have to admit to never having had one apart despite re-building a number of this type of deck. Member medogsfat (Chris) may have direct experience here.
Ta da!! it worked with your suggestion. What happens if I ever want to use a two way?? Many thanks for your expertise!!
Just buy any 2-way remote like BL5000 or BL7000. I admit to not being a poster since I cannot do with all the hearty congratulations and the like. I am afraid it is just not me. However, I do read all the posts as they come in and many of them give me a chuckle. I enjoy being with others who are
Agree with Chris - but the problem remains that the angle at which the arm is working away from the straight seems excessive. Certainly more than my one operates at.
Adjustment of the arm movement servo is also quite easy and is detailed in the service manual. Don't tell anyone but even I have managed it
I was torn between "wanted" and "general" for this post, but settled on the latter... Someone used to advertise turntable shelves on ebay, which they had "improved" from the B&O design. Now that I need one, they seem to have stopped advertising. Can anyone here remind me who they are
