  • Re: Save your money boys and girls!

Doesn't really tell us anything we didn't know though - 40" BV8 and that ultra-large BV4 they demonstrated a while ago?

  • Re: BeoLab 9 or BeoLab 8000 design

moxxey: Believe me, the BL9s are far from 'small'. They are quite wide at the base and around 70cm high. Once they are in the room, they look rather large. Ok, nothing like the BL5s, but still large. BL9s are far newer technology. The ALT makes a big difference with audio distribution around the room. The bass is substantial too. I have absolutely

  • Re: BV7-40 price drop??

BTW, did anyone else receive that questionnaire from B&O asking what we think of our BV7? They're starting to ask some odd questions - comparing the TV experience with brands such as Gucci, Samsung and so on.

avus17: What do U think, which speaker does better match with BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 8000 or BeoLab 9. I know BeoLab 9 perform better, but somehow can not understand why it is so small? I have red that it was designed to listen to the music when sitting, but is the sound also good when standing or walking arround the room? I think all lens speakers from

  • Re: BV7-40 price drop??

mbee: visually I find it outdated with the big screen borders and its fat design comparing to all the slim TVs around there... Funny you should mention this. It has advantages and disadvantages. Often people remark on how 'big' my BV7-40 MKIII is, assuming it's a 46" or similar, when they are around my place. They are quite amazed to

Roger, do you know the planned price for the BV7-40 without DVD, in the UK? ie. how does it compare to the current model?

  • Re: Latest software version of BV9, mine switches of randomly

wv02447: I just checked and have version 4.24a, which problems and improvements are solved with the latest software. Unfortunately that's known problem with sw 4.24a. You need to upgrade to 5.xx (I think the latest is 5.02). However, this introduces problems with link room TVs when connected to a Sky HD box.

thavn: Another Question is, what will be the price of the BV7-40 with Bluray? The same price as the BV7-40 MKIII is right now!

  • Re: UK Dealers

I was told that a UK dealer wasn't authorised to provide B&O equipment outside of the UK. I'm not saying that a dealer couldn't do it 'under the radar', but they're not supposed to start shipping products across continents.

  • Re: BV7-40 price drop??

I think I might consider the BV7-40 MKIV without a DVD player. Although I prefer the integration, with a £1300 price decrease, I'll simply use the PS3 for playing back DVDs. Yes, would love the integration, but for the few times I play a DVD (once every three weeks?) I can live without an internal DVD player.
