It could be set to option 0 - it needs to be option 1. With a Beolink 1000, with the system in stand by, Sound, 1, Store.

Get it retipped - Look at the top article in the Beogram section and click on the link to Axel.

The problem is that as a buyer, Paypal is wonderful. I have never returned anything or made a claim (though I should have done once - crooked US seller never sent anything and tried to con more money out of me) but the ability to pay instantly is a huge bonus. There are good sellers and good buyers but there are also dishonest sellers and buyers. If

Not quite that simple as the chassis is the original Philips 101 ( the 100 was a prototype) but the electronics are the trusty 104, one of the best CD players of its time. The CDX was made in the Philips factory but the control mechanism is bespoke to B&O. The laser assembly and DAC circuits are all pure Philips though so I think there should be

Not a silly question at all! I believe it does as the Beosystem 1 is essentially the innards of an Avant repackaged! The recommended centre speakers were a pair of Beolab 4000s.

No converter that I know of. There is a code converter for the 5000 system and the 6000/8000 system but I don't think it works with the 3000. The MCL30 system will allow you to work the system in another room but you need the connection box and the IR eye. I have seen them on eBay but only very rarely. The system allows full control - but you get
