The BL4000 are really appreciated on this site, I don't like them design-wise, so I would go with the BL6000, they are stunning to look at, and the sound isn't bad. As Alex said, don't let us decide, listen to them, look at them, and you'll surely choose the right one for you.

Gulp! I think I should bring this thread to my dealers attention. Isn't this a pretty "humiliating" error is this is the case? Only 255 titles.

koning: Are the original drivers still avaible? I believe so, since it was discontinued in 2003, not so long ago.

So this morning I received a lovely pair of black CX50's. 50 euros + shipping. They have started to foam rot, but it's not too bad, so going to check them out as they are, if not good enough, I'm going to get new drivers. They do look awesome for 50 euros

I think there should be an experiment done to a BS9000 to load a massive amounts of CD's into it, say 1000 different CD's, and see if it fails.

This is worrying to me, since I think I have about 600 cd's right now, and they are growing by several hundreds a year! The 6 hundred I have now, haven't all still been played in the Beosound, I got it in october 2008, I know this since I name each new CD still, and there seems to be space left to name them.
