I like the idea, but the top portion of the BeoLab 10 is designed to abut the bottom of a plasma panel. there would have to be either a redesign that didn't make it look so unfinished at the top, or a way to adjust the bracket to nearly touch the bottom of the BeoVision 7. Otherwise, the BeoLab 10 has grown on me since I first saw it last year.

Sorry, you're wrong. I sell loads. However, I'm aware that our McMansions make in-wall speakers a hot property in the US, so in EU it may not make as much sense. Not to mention the building codes that would interfere with putting a powered device in a wall. If they were freestanding I'd probably agree, and it's not that I'm a huge

Value is different things to different people. When you compare BeoLab 5s to speakers that cost twice as much, they mop the floor with them. I'd say that's a value. If low prices are what you're looking for, I don't know what to tell you!

The central issue issue here is that the BeoLab 2000 was intended as a dedicated/dumb/downstream terminal meant for use on a propietary network protocol, not as a stand alone speaker. You are in essence asking: "I've gotten my hands on a Diebold ATM machine from my local bank. What do I need to hook up a hard drive so that I can watch video

I think that the new CEO will have a very different approach than TBS, who brought us such technological achievements as the Samsung logo. TBS seemed to focus on building the brand in ways that were out of synch with our core values.

I doubt that we'll see the new digital masterlink system fully launched in the next fiscal, nor will be see the BeoVision 8-40 or the 7-52 until the next fiscal. I'd love to be wrong, but it doesn't seem like those launches will roll out that quickly. Otherwise these predictions are in line with what I know.
