Peter : In all honesty, becoming a silver or gold member is better still. It is very kind that people are donating but I am keen that people get something for their money. Silver and gold members get access to all sorts of manuals including all the catalogues which we have scanned - these are fascinating and in my view worth the money alone! As I have

What a super lot you are at Beoworld/lifestyle-av! Congrats to Stuart!

I'm all for this! I was going to just donate $30 (don't want any trinkets), but is it equally as helpful to upgrade the membership to silver for instance? I wish i could afford to do more to contribute. I very much appreciate this site and how well it's run, what it offers and i often wonder who's paying for it all!

With all respect, am i the only one who thinks looks awful? Yes it is cool to see this in a popular movie, and BL5's are incredible things - but B&O is in alot of movies, and the picture of this room puts me to sleep! I don't think "contemporary" square furniture and interior deco like that matches the timeless Danish design.

Alex: Which iPod are you talking about? The latest ones really are rather good actually, although the iPod Touch and the iPhone mk1 don't really perform quite as well. They still sound good though. Try using them with a Beovision, Beosound CD player, or a Beosound 2 &/or 6... wow, wow, wow - they really are superb in this application.

WOW i wish i could hear these speakers i can't begin to imagine what this sounds like. Interesting post.

I just feel that you may not enjoy living with the smaller screen, and the way the avant is designed leaves it a little bit rude for a room (out of place). B&O gear tends to look like it just 'belongs' in the room, but i do find that the Avant is an exception to this... all a matter of taste isn't it. Both are good options, just different

Hi! I have to disagree with you on the aesthetics of the BV3, and i thought the same thing until i owned one. It's a modern looking CRT, and most mistake it for a plasma or lcd. I would also, in your case have no problem in choosing - the 3-32 is bigger, more bang for your buck, and i've read that the avant and BV3 share the excact same picture
