I gave mine away when I bought the Pentas because I had no room for the packaging. Perhaps a wanted ad might elicit some positive responses?

Puncher: Jandyt: Thanks for starting this thread John. Up until now, I had no intentions of ever having a Beosound 2. I see those that do have them, enthuse greatly, I will get one shortly. Andy T. I can understand an enthusiast having a BS2 but, with any degree of practicallty, surely a big(ger) iPod wins the day! - more songs, at a higher (even lossless

Thanks Affineur It's really pleasing to see how many people have taken the time to praise the Beosound 2 - it must be a special piece of kit, in spite of some of the more obvious omissions when compared to the plethora of alternatives out there. I'm well aware of some of its drawbacks with regard to the lack of display interface etc., but at the end of the day every piece of

Saxpy: You are all wrong! The worst product ever was the LE6000 television set. A Philips TV from the beginning to end smacked in a low-cost, low-end version of the LX design. The finish was just horrible, the cheapest plastic you could ever find. You could even see the different colours on the scart inputs, blue and orange, just like the Philips set

One of these - B&O's stock remote controller from the mid 80s to 90s.

I don't think it will as the codes for the MCP 5000 are particular to the BM 5000, plus the BC 9000 is one-way only. You'll need a Beolink 1000 or a Beollink 5000/7000 used in one-way only.
