  • Re: MX7000

I think you can affect it to V.AUX... which is still on the LIST button, but sound better than A.TAPE. Another solution is to say it is a decoder, and then say TV Channel X needs the decoder. In that way when you call TV X you get the picture from the STB. p.

  • Re: DVD on link room from main room

Well... I asked the PCG and here is what I got: The ML Module of MX 4002 must have software version (S/W) 1.5 or higher to be able to operate the DVD in the main room, among other things, order no. 8343206

You know when you stored the frequency for SKY in channel 60... try storing that same fequency in 61, 62, all the numbers as long as the TV accepts them. I also know that some BV4002 with older software cannot control the main room DVD. As you are a member, I would recommand downloading the PCG and it will tell you...

  • Re: Beo5 - where are we?

Keith Saunders: Many remotes send the command string several times even when it is not a long press. For example the Sony remotes always send the command five times by default with at least a 33,000 microsecond gap between transmission of each burst and needs to receive at least two correctly to accept the command. To create a repeat they use what is

  • Re: Olufsen House - interesting problem... I hope!

Wow... had to print it to make sense of it! You do not need speaker cables between BS9000 and Avant, you should connect the speakers directly on the Avant. Keep a speaker cable in the floor, for the day you connect back speakers to the TV. You should also find a layout where distance between the BL8000 is larger. The sound will be much improved. BC6

  • Re: Downgrade MX7000 software

Just give your dealer a call and say exactly what you want. You'll get less pressure over the phone. Anyway, I am not sure the new software features the FORMAT command, like on the BV8. But if it does, you will lose that feature. P.

The Apple remote also feature "long press" codes, a bit like the Beo4. I have not seen those when I downloaded the XML file and did my config. A long while ago, I played with a lintronic box, and I could see that the "repeat" code sent by the remote indicating the key was constantly pressed was the the same whatever key was pressed
