Terry, Not at all. I use Kuro as a general term because I have seen a Kuro (of any generation including 8) that can is better than a Panny connected to a BeoSyste 3. They may very well beat them handily if the BeoSystem 3 is not involved, but if you look back to the OP, the nature of this thread is pairing a non-B&O panel with a BeoSystem 3. I think

I think that moving production to China is only prolonging the inevitable. At some point China is sure to join the modern world in terms of wealth & hopefully human rights. We will eventually run out of cheap manufacturing bases. I think Bang & Olufsen should look ahead of the curve for once and hire creatures like minotaurs and other work beasts

I think it's time for a reality check. No matter what portion of the work you are able to perform yourself (and I'm assuming it's fairly close to zero considering the way this particular phone is assembled) any modification you make to it, aesthetic or otherwise, will run you very nearly (if not exceed) the cost of an "open box"

Damn it Russ!!! Stop talking crap about the AV7000! Do you know how many doors in my house would be flapping open and closed without my collection of AV7000s!?

I love it!!! This thread warms my heart (even though the initial question had a negative connotation). Every time one of us gives our nomination, someone is there who loves that product! This is, to me, what's unique about Bang & Olufsen. We end up forming emotional relationships even with products that may objectively have some problems. I
