  • Re: Beo5 refuse to get new config...

If your serialisation file is to big to fit into the Beo5 memory, then the Configuration tool will give an error message and will not do a download. The maximum size of the serialisation file is just under 2mb, that's NOT the configuration file you create, rather the hex file which is actaully downloaded to the Beo5. My Beo5 configuration has a
  • Re: Beo5 refuse to get new config...

So, are you saying that the Configuration Tool effectively hangs and you have to terminate the program with Windows Task Manager ? If you have increased the size of the overall configuration, then it may that you are working with a PC with a small amount of memory or many other programmes running at the same time as the Configuration program. I suggest
  • Re: BeO5 and GENEVA SOUND SYSTEM

David, It is certainly possible, but would take a lot of work even for the most knowledgable person. You would need to start by determining if its normal remote uses some of the common and standard codesets, if it does, then that makes life much easier. If it does not, then you will have to produce IR bitstreams for each command and determine in microseconds
  • Re: Strange One for the technical of you

Your problem is fairly common and is most likely caused by either a bad ground connection or an earth loop. You pick up classic FM normally because the wire/cable in question just happens to be the length near or equal to the standing frequency or sub-divisions of the broadcast frequency. Clearly the first focus should be the powerlink cables and I

  • Re: BeoPort and BeoSound 9000 question

The short answer is YES The long answer is the speakers need to be connected to the Beoport, either using seperate powerlink speakers or using the headphones output on the Beoport to feed into your sound card for the PC speakers if they are integrated etc.

  • Re: Beo 5: Battery life?

The B&O stated battery standby and charging details are:- Battery capacity in Standby is 12 days Active time typical 18 hours ( 3 hours continually) Charging time 5 hours Battery Capacity is 1,350 mAh, 2.5V Charging via the USB is 5V at 90mA Charging via the adapter is 5V at 400mA I understand that a few batteries have failed with symptoms of not

If the phones rings WITHOUT the microfilters, then they should also ring WITH the microfilters. Filters which are normally provided by ISP's (Internet Service Providers) are fine for 90% of situations, but there are good and bad microfilters. One of the very best on the market is the XF-1e. • Re: New in-wall speakers for bathromm

funcke: I’m definitely not a sound specialist. However, my step brother who is 15-years older than me taught me some general information about building speaker systems when I was a child. The upshot is that a speaker and its frequency-separating filter(s) is designed for a defined air volume – in case the purpose is to use it with a sealed

Good to know it is the ADSL micro filter. The microfilter ensures there is no interference between your analogue phone call and your broadband. You broadband will work provided you dont use the phone, so until you get a new microfilter just disconnect your phones when you are using broadband.
