Very nice indeed - a great match! However I see you have discovered the same problem as me - no data feed to the speakers - my Pentas are blank too.

They will need new capacitors and some form of stand - you could always have a blacksmith knock up a pair! For €50, you cannot go far wrong!

This site has always been a friendly and amusing place and this is entirely down to the members. Lee and his team of moderators, of which I am honoured to be a member, can provide the place, but it is the generous spirit and will to help of the members that marks this site out. I wish each and everyone on this site a very Happy Christmas and look forward

Many Happy Returns. Hope you have a great day.

I have been under one of those umbrellas - they are truly huge! Congratulations!

Best of luck to everyone tonight. First prize really is one of the great B&O set ups.
-
No problem - I use the one on my BC2 now.

The larger screen is a definite. It will not have a RF amplifier built in though - no new sets do unlike the BV5/Avant etc - and I don't know about the timer as the 10-40 does not have this. The woofer enclosure is the same as well as the depth of the bigger screen should be unchanged. I had heard late May as a possible target date.

Expect a 46/47" version in the spring. Same basic innards with a bigger screen.

The sound performance of the BV10 is not that bad! As stated, it is good, but not in the same league as the Beolab 7. Compare it to a normal TV and you will be very impressed. You will also be very impressed by the thin design and the picture, which at present is in my opinion the best 40" available in the B&O range.
