I use foil caps simply because then I'll never have to replace them again. It's fun on the first time, but not exactly after that... I'd probably use electrolytics for speakers I was going to sell sooner or later, but that never seems to happen to me I'm quite sure I'd never hear any difference between foil cap brands or dielectrics

Squeezing a (full) 16:9 picture on a 4:3 screen is called letterboxing. You only do it once, either at the source, or at the display device. You are probably watching an analogue broadcast, and there the letterboxing is usually done at the TV company if needed, resulting in a 4:3 transmission format with black bars at top & bottom. Try clearing the cache, or keeping shift down while clicking on "reload" to force a complete reload of the page content (won't work in all browsers).

Love these! Is the top end (the attachment to the horizontal bar) different in 45 stands and the bigger ones, or is that small horizontal "step" your own idea? In any case, I like these more!
