Welcome to BeoWorld. 1.) Sounds like centering could be an issue. You just refoamed these? Lightly press inwards on the drive in question -can you hear a "scraping" sound? No, not really...

Those values seem confusing to me... but I have US (8490) models, where... 1 FAR LEFT 5 CENTER 9 FAR RIGHT I would ensure the Avant is centered physically... in my case (5) so that you then know where "CENTER" is... Then, position the set appropriately for your room. In the (8490) the STDBY and ON positions are programmed in the menu.
