I can confirm what Stefan has stated. Version 1.3 provided what B&O called a special "option 0" Your Beolink 7000 will be setup for two way remote for audio and one way for video. You may find that you can still purchase it through a B&O dealer and it has a part number of 8342830 and is 4IC2

You would normally connect your powerlink speakers to the TV and the 6500/7000 via a Type 1611 converter. It makes no difference which unit you use most.

I am assuming that the " Problem Statement " you highlighted has always existed, but it is only now that you thought you would try an get it fixed. If this is the case and given the 10 year age I am guessing that you have a

The upgrade kit is no more than £15

Is your Beovision 8 a standalone TV or is it connected via Masterlink to an audio system ?

To update the Beosound 9000 for N.Music & N.Radio it requires a chip change to version 2.2 or greater as shown below for the Mark I & Mark II. PROVIDED you understand and use static protection so as not to destroy any components including the new chip which means an earthed wrist strap and an earthed work area and you have a chip extraction
