I can't say where I got it from but I have from a trusted source that we finally will see a smaller, more reasonable priced LCD TV coming to the US. BV8 32" is supposed to be introduced 1st Quarter 2008 at around 4000$. Start saving everyone. JK

Wouldn't do it assuming you are in UK. Not sure about warranty, plugs are different - voltage I think can be adjusted, you can get back the US taxes when you leave however they will slap the UK taxes on top when you enter the UK unless you smuggle them, after 20% UK tax on top of the 1300 you are pretty much there assuming 1600 is for the powerlink

There are 2 versions, the Beoolab 4 PC version without powerlink is 999$. You can order form amazon where they house the B&O store or get them at any apple store. The normal version, that has powerlink and that you can connect to Besounds and Beocenters is 300$ more I think. Both prices plus tax. JK

I thought the BL3500 is a link speaker so I don't think it can just be used as a center. I do recall though that there is a company in Europe that can modify it for that purposes. The latest BL3500 does have a powerlink I understand, but that was only for the wireless link I think. Cheers JK
