  • Re: Passive Penta speakers

Look forward to hearing what you think of them, i expect you're going to be impressed, from all that i've read about how they sound and the genres you appreciate, i've never read a bad thing about their sound, except possibly the humble treble they produce... I just wish they weren't so ugly, i can't have these speakers in my house

These details can be found if you explore the products section of this site... :) The pentas are renowned for sounding warm. They would probably be brilliant for your taste of music.

Hey i NEED to ask, why are you using this machine? The BV you have has an exceptional DVD unit built in! I use an average philips DVD-R machine and it has the "resume" function in the menu, check this in the menus? :)

  • Re: Beosound 2 LV case

Thank you so much for the input, my BS2 has now become slightly too scratched / hazed to care about protacting it with a Vaja.. when i get a new BS2, i will get one of these, they are beautiful aren't they. I liked the practical idea of popping it on my belt to save pocket space. $500 is too too much for this i'm realizing, i'll keep this

  • Beosound 2 LV case

Can someone tell me please if australian $500 is too much to pay for a 10 month old BS2 LV case (the circle strap one)? I love it, but this seems excessive. And the ebay seller quotes $60 aus to ship it from USA... get stuffed, thats ridiculous isn't it?

  • Re: BeoLab 3500, 4000 and 6000 in white...

Very interesting! Great idea for a house with white walls! I'm in love! I was just about to re case my 4000's in gold to match my new tan/warm brown couch... but lets see what a new pair of white frets does. Christian i don't think they're spending that much on this, it's just white fabric they've added to the line.

I wonder what it sounds like> It looks like one of those outdoors gas heaters, without it's hat.

jk1002: Some like the design of the 90ties that BL6000 and BL8000 have but we are now a century later. *decade I'm calling it as i see it, and we all have different opinions of course. I like ALL B&O design, to be frank. Since the new showroom in our city has opened which is all glass on a very busy street, alot of people that aren't usually

expoman: So does sound quality really matter or is it only about looks? Umm i think that is a little bit extreme. I think that's it's just the balance between form and function that B&O are still trying to achieve perfectly. The newer ALT speakers are not as neat and pretty but the sound achieved is remarkable, and they are still striking
