It's a completely different speaker, The Type M speakers are 2-way cabinet speakers meant for use with f.e. the later valve stereo receivers like f.e. Grand Prix 608/609/610, Dirigent 609/610 and the Hifi Amplifiers 608/610. They have a good sound when used with valve amplifiers but will also sound fair with f.e. a Beomaster 900. Like the S607,

The idle current trimmers go bad and the idle current can run astray, that's a common fault. Seeing Penta amplifiers melted down, like the one pictured, is not common. The "melted" plastic in the penta amplifier is just a sign of an ignorant or unaware owner, who let the amplifier run even if it started to hum (which BTW was noted by the

No matter where the seller got the manuals from, they are not legal on EBay: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/unauthorized-copies.html "CD-Rs containing scanned pages from a book, magazine, manual or other copyrighted written materials that were not written by you" & http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies

Would be a shame to delete it all. Others will benefit from it and it's a perfectly good example of a case where the simplest thing can drive you nuts because attention is focus'ed in all the wrong places. It's also a perfectly good example to show that you should never give up. Set it aside, wait a while and take a look at it with fresh
