It seemed to me that the level of acrimony had subsided and there actually seemed to be somewhat of a consensus being reached. It seems that every piece of correspondence from B and O that has been posted here answers the question the same, yes, with the only discrepancy being whether the upper limit is 96kHz or 192kHz. Perhaps I misread or misinterpreted

I don't know if the PS3 will decode or not. I am afraid to make the following comment, but here goes, it is not listed in the specifications as a capability. If you look at the specifications for other Blu-Ray players on the Sony page it will specifically list if the decode Dolby TrueHD and DTS MAsterHD. For instance, the S300 decodes neither, the
