Well those kinds of prices are not possible in Europe. In Finland the BV4 is 8.750 euro, or 11.300 USD. Pioneer is a far better and newer screen. Who wants a cheap tuner with the BV4? You need the Beosystem 3 with the BV4, adding another 7.056 euros or 9.130 USD. Total: over 20.000 dollars! So my estimate of 6-8 times
24p = Yes Mk III and MK IV got 24p support. And moxxey it´s not a scart cable between the dvd drive and the motherboard. They use computer IDE Ultra ATA cabling..
I think you miss my point entirely. I have no idea what cable is used from the mechanism to the motherboard, but I do assume that there is no

I would try and get more than 14%. I know of two BV4-65's for-sale at far less than a 14% discount. The demand for a ex-demo 65" screen isn't great, so you should be able to get a better deal.

I know people on here keep saying that 'new stuff is around the corner'. All I've seen over the last 6 or so months are new colours for existing products - those colours being white and now gold. That BV9 looks terrible. Unless you live in Dolce & Gabbana's house (mostly gold), that's really not going to work.
Based on the spec's I've seen they haven't included TrueHD or DTS-HD among the BS3 sound formats, so I do hope that the new internal bluray will do the decoding and pass it on as PCM to the BS3 - anything else would be embarrassing for B&O.
Oh god, good point. As I'm assuming the existing drive

Joey, you were the one who replied last time and said exactly the same thing. I guess you do a lot of trade eBay and this is a sensitive area. You're entitled to your opinion mate, but I disagree. For top quality items such as a B&O TV, I'd stick with ex-demo kit from my dealer, LifeStyle, MoreThanAV and so on. Particularly those I can place

I've said this before - and been flamed down for it - but I wouldn't buy B&O kit on eBay. The two products I bought both had chips and dents, when described as 'mint'. The phone I bought was unusable. I'd buy via LifeStyle or ex-demo kit from my dealer. Besides, I thought you said you were keen to buy from the dealer?

It makes a lot of sense, if you're on a limited spending budget Trip. Besides, my landlords have B&O kit linked all over their house, apart from their bedroom and master bedroom, where they had Moss of Bath come around and fit £599 Sony TVs for free, with Freeview built-in. They argued that couldn't be beaten. In many ways, they are

Mine weren't new purchases John. Don't assume. I bought ex-demo BL9s at a price I couldn't refuse and then had an option on mint second-hand BL5s, again at a price I couldn't refuse. I had to search high and low to find the money for those and it's affected my budget even in Feb 2009. I've bought no new kit for months. That's

Despite what others have said, I'm not overly impressed with my BV8. Colours are far more washed out, compared to the BV7-40 MKIII. BV6 is rather expensive for a second-hand occasional-use bedroom TV. How about a Samsung? :)
