• Re: BeoLab 8000 for BeoLab 8002 exchange used for new

The BL8000 just passed 500,000 units in production in the past year or so. An absolute home run. Its like saying Porsche should stop production on the 911. I mean they have made it for the past 1000 years it seems and this years model looks the same as day one! Looks incredible to most (still!) and people just keep buying them...

Finally, they are on the US website. I wasn't really expecting them to actually advertise it as the "8002," I thought that was just for us nerds but thats cool. I think the dot does spoil it a little but it doesn't bother me that much. The most unbelievable thing they did was leave the dot black on the white fret!
Wow, that is some thread - great work. Looks very tempting to do the same but my panels are too good still. I would love to see an Beocord 4500 added to the mix....
Thank you Lex. I would like everyone to preserve their panels as much as possible, but in my case, not so much. Mine were terrible. The BeoCord

  • Re: Using B&O Speakers with Computer?

I remember getting one of those by mistake. Very confused to see a power transformer in the box when I ordered a din-4 aux adapter.

  • Re: BeoSystem 4500 Restoration

Thank you once again. If any of you have a damaged 4500 I really encourage doing this, you will be very happy with the result.

My BeoMaster left the factory with only one of the two screws. I had to go down to the local hardware store to find a replacement. The replacement is a No. 1 Phillips panhead screw.
AFAIK they all left the factory with one screw! It is only there to stop the pcb from sliding

Thank you everyone! and Thank you Chris for supplying the tape and instruction for applying it. I am very happy with the result and proud to have a "like new" system. Previously, a lot of pressure had to be put on the operation panel in some areas do to previous "repairs" to remedy the separated glass. Now it responds to the lightest
