Additionally, make certain that the placement accounts for the lack of magnetic sheilding so you don't get magnetic blobs on your screen. And Russ is right, the MX 5000/5500 has PL the same as the BeoLab 2500s, so you're set to go.

With regard to 4.24, my sources tell me that it isn't available yet on this side of the Atlantic. Do we think it's coming via Carrier Pigeon? Or is it a Euro-only update? Trip

You'd better drive a flat bed! The box contains the BeoVision 7 placed diagonally and is delivered on a pallet with the box strapped down. It requires the pallet to maintain enough structural integrity to move. Our store has a full sized van and it would not fit inside. We only transport them via freight carrier.

BeoJeff, HDMI 1.3 is actually a firmware update. It would not require a physical change. The mini connectors (which I assume you're thinking of) are only an option and will likely be used more for video cameras than on AV receivers. I understand your desire to wait, but the 1.3 upgrade should not present an issue. As for the BeoMaster 5, it will

No, the darker picture is a characteristic of the LCD.
