Basically yes. You may get a *little* bit more volume out of it (although obviously a lot more bass) with a BeoLab 2, but you will still find the amount of power available in the upper frequencies is lacking, especially with the BeoLab 6000s. If volume is what you want, look for a pair of BeoLab 5s, BeoLab 9s or Pentas.

Now listening to Perfect Day - Lou Reed. Bought Transformer on Vinyl in perfect condition on monday (along with Endtroducing by DJ Shadow and Think (About It) (the album) by Lyn Collins, again all in perfect condition).

Doesn't look like a serious hifi speaker as such. Spring clips on the connections panel and a *slightly* simplified visual overview (treble from the top, bass from the bottom, but no midrange?).

Whoops. Missed the post where the OP had bought a PC. Mybad.

Stan: The latest BL3500 does have a powerlink socket. However, it's still a 2 channel speaker, and the center speaker is a single channel. I suppose you could customize a cable to send the one center channel down both L and R of the powerlink. Stan The 'BeoLab 7-1' or '7-2' setting should send sound down both left and right of the PL.

I suppose you could say the plan would have to be water tight...

9 LEE: camshaft: Awesome Lee, what did you use to paint it? It was done by my local Honda bodyshop using ICI paint in a low bake oven. The colour is actually Lamborghini white as the one pictured! Honestly! Lee PS - I now have a spare BL2 casing... any colour suggestions for my next project? How about a BeoLab 2 aquarium? Fill in the sides/front with
