I completely disagree with you, and i love that they are offering yet more choices. B&O is an elite comany...
So where are the BV7's encrusted in platinum and swarovski diamonds? If they're elite, I want diamonds!!
-
Thanks. That does work. However, is there anyway of making the BV7 automatically picture mute after selecting V.AUX?

I have a scenario where my Airport Express connects to my BV7-40 MKIII via a scart lead created by my dealer. Problem is that the TV recognises that the incoming audio-only stream is mono/stereo, but insists on outputting the audio to 'speaker 3', which means it forces the stereo audio via the centre speaker and two BL9s. Result? Audio doesn't
I do not wish to upset anybody now..
Just out of interest, are you going for the 'number of replies from one person in one thread' record? :) I understand what Simon is saying about the 'magic', but there are also too many frustrations about owning recent B&O kit, particularly based around

If you had to list favourite products Simon, you cannot miss the BL5s. They'd be on everyone's wish list. So: 1) BL5s 2) BL9s 3) BL3s I'm awfully priviledged to own all three and these excel above every other B&O product I've owned recently or stil own. In fairness, I hardly ever use the BL5s but, when I do, they pick out sounds

I know someone with the MKI BV6-22 and the picture is still superb and that's nearly five years old. The problem is that you will NOT get a better picture from a 2005-model non-HD BV6 if you compare it to a HD-sourced BV7-40 MKIII or BV9. The colours on my BV7-40 cannot be bettered by my BV8-26, even when connected to the same source. That's
...building a relationship with your customer..
As I've said by PM, this 'relationship' is only based on trade. If I don't buy future products, the same dealer ends up 'forgetting' about me as a previous important customer. I bet I don't receive a pro-active email stating that

Ignoring financials, how on earth can someone not include a BeoLab 5 in the top three? Bizarre. The BeoSound 5 is no way near the level of the lab 5s. Far too many negatives for it to be 'complete'. There are few - if any - negatives about the Lab 5s. You can't say a BL3 is above a BL5.

No, that's wrong. We're on sw 5.xx since November. Indeed, I had sw 4.17 installed about this time last year!
I have yet to see a 50 inch plasma with a 7.1 surround processor of any decent quality that can be purchased for that amount.
As I've said before though, that's only a valid argument if you *need* those additional features. I don't need 7.1. Most don't.
