Alex: Yes, it does a fantastic job of upscaling. From a distance of 4-5m on a 65" display, I struggle to tell the difference between standard definition and high definition other than a slight increase in depth. +1 We recently saw a demo of Star Wars III on a BV4-65: we were not able to tell if it was HD or not !
