Most of you lot know about the bargain LX5500 I picked up on ebay and I'm more than happy with it There is one very minor niggle (which I'm sure has been raised before with these sets but I cannot find any reference on the forum). The problem is a small area of picture discolouration at the bottom left hand corner of the screen (left hand side

I've been there and done this repair myself a couple of times (I have the T shirt to prove it ). Well done getting this far, it really is a painful operation and one I will NEVER do again. Good luck and hope the results work out fine. Chris.

beaker: Pentas really are good but I think for normal "quiet" listening the MC120's seem to have them beat. Oh and if any one has some stands for a pair of MC120's, please let me know. As far as I know there are the Beovox 5000 , Beovox 4000 and Beovox 3000 Chris.

Our esteemed TV expert Nobby uses epoxy resin for this. Don't use the "fast setting" stuff, it is rubbish. Chris.

A brilliant job as always Keith, Beoworld really does owe you a huge debt of gratitude - we are very very lucky to have you on board. Chris.

It's looking that way ipaul, I don't have the expertise nor the admin powers to be of much use to you though sadly. Keith Saunders or possibly van are the men to ask but I know they are very busy working on reformatting the site at present so maybe drop him a PM explaining the problem after the weekend? Chris.
