I actually have it on good authority that 355f not only owns all past products (he actually has TWO Eliminators), but has even travelled into the future so he can purchase (and be disappointed with) a BeoVision 7-52 MKVII (with built in Brown-Ray). I hope Bang & Olufsen can make products fast enough to keep up with his disappointment! As for the

I have to agree with Flappo. As precious as some of our concepts are, they can't fool the market. There's someone doing it better. Beat 'em or join 'em.

Track you movements!? I don't blame you, Linder! As often as we have these debates, I think something new always bubbles to the surface. Especially now when software and soft sources can be developed at a rate physical peripherals never could. One really good point discussed in this thread is the virtual link system that Airport Express allows with

I'm not sold yet. The idea that my iPhone could ever replace my computer or any component of my audio system still seems far-fetched. Though I marvel at my iPhone's capabilities and am a die-hard mac user (typing this on a MacBook Air), there are still too many hurdles. The applications that SoundProof described are fantastic, but most applications

This is a tough one! The answer is absolutely yes, but it is impractical. The BeoMedia 1, for example, is the only peripheral I routinely "link" due to its high cost. The fact of the matter is that the AppleTV costs less than half of the products and cables required to distribute it. What's more, it's possible to keep multiple AppleTVs

It was accidentally mentioned in my presence, which only confirmed its existence. Since then I've only been able to wrench out that it will have a speaker phone. That's all I gots on this one. Also, I'd be surprised if you saw it this summer. We know that B&O is famously loose with dates, but sequences are generally pretty tight.

How to save Bang & Olufsen? I've said it before and I'll say it again: http://www.redferret.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/mrclockradio_small.jpg The longer they wait, the worse it will be.

They say 30,000 hours. As for the pq you see in our showrooms, the current BV4s & (within a month or so) BV9s ship with ACM systems that calibrate color over the life of the panel, so theoretically you'll get comparable pq over the full life of the panel. I have to say, though, we're currently selling off a 720p 50" with about 2 years

355f! My old nemesis! I knew I'd find you here! I'm not saying you're totally wrong on that. If you're looking at more or less the same screen (ours and the Panny) you'd probably see very little difference when both are fresh. I can even agree to the extent that before the ACM system was made available I had even personally considered

Moxxey old chap (honoring my avatar), you, me, and 355f are actually all simultaneously correct! Though I do admittedly live in my own private BeoWorld where the streets are paved with anodized aluminum, we do just buy the raw materials from Panasonic & Samsung and 355f is correct that if you "unmask" a BeoVision 4 or 9, you see essentially
