When both items are connected, you don't want them both to receive an IR signal from your remote, or you will get everything duplicated.| Pressing 7 will result in 77. Not good. The Options sort this problem Option 0 =No Ir signal recieved Option 1 = Only an IR signal for that kind of Master will be received (Audio for audio and video for video
Interesting that people's replies include how attractive the 'person' is rather than seem them for their experience and knowledge. Do you look at the male members of staff in dealers in the same light?
I think that's normal behaviour Simon. I think most hetros3xual males automatically

Ah! That's why. I too have Beovoxes in the dining room connected to the 7000.

Similar set up to mine Peter, though I have both my Audio and Video masters on Option 1. Cant remember why Andy T.

Well I have been in many B&O dealers over the last few years, but have only met with one female staff member. Puerto Banus in Spain! She was very attractive, friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent english. I didn't dare ask her if she could iron, as my wife may have hit me with one! It was 4 years ago.

Brilliant Lee! Sell 10 and a half thousand of them, and I'll have no chance of winning a BV8-40!!

Ha! I think the new square Beoline takes 8 handsets so that seems like your obvious choice. You will then have a spare 'slot' for another handset. If you feel you really must use the Beoline to its full potential, I wouldn't bother with the ridiculous Beocom 2, after all its just a phallic symbol. Just wait til this year's new Beocom
-
Yes Jeff. Five handsets and a Serene Dock = 6. If you are just testing something for Simon, you could always temporarily remove one handset. Andy T.

If the belt is the correct one, I can't see it going too tight. If it is too slack, your Beogram will either run slow, or take ages to gather speed. I wouldn't fix it if it's not broke. I have a feeling that there is not an adjustable belt tensioner. I'm sure that Martin or some other WOS will correct me if I'm wrong. Andy T.

Bearing in mind that I am not a rechie, this is just a suggestion. If you are using Tape 1 or 2 sockets, doesn't it work both ways so that a signal can go out as well as in? Could it be that the pins in the DIN plug may need swapping round? Maybe the third diagram on this page would be of interest. Andy T.
