Sorry Sandy - i try and manage to grab 5 minutes here and there to contribute as best i can, but it's not nearly enough at the moment. This appears to be purely a card processing issue. HSBC have a 'filter' on card payments, and if the name, address, postcode etc that you are registering with do not match the card billing address it will

Hi Sandy Are the cards you are using registered to your home address? The 'fraud filter' or whatever they call it runs a shed load of checks, and if anything is amiss it kicks it out.. Also, what make/type of cards are you using? Technically, i am indeed 'away' - with the fairies, as we are moving into a new premises that is consuming

Maybe BASF and Philips did them together! LOL I have half a dozen in my display cabinet, and i cracked one open last year to see who made them. On mine, it said Philips.. Lee

It's Philips C90 Audio Cassette, wrapped in blue plastic that says Bang & Olufsen on it. Distributed to/by dealers in the early 1990's. Lee

I think Peter is playing this LX6000 down a bit.. It's brand new, never used and in it's original box. The original owner had it delivered in 1991, but never unpacked it as it was destined for a room that wasn't completed by the decorators. When the room was eventually done, they decided not to have a TV in there, and placed it carefully
