It rather depends what working order means! If has recently been restored properly, this would be a reasonable price but if it is unrestored, then it is very expensive. They normally sell for about £100 in working condition unrestored and less if they have any faults.

Certainly is possible as a kit was made.

Why are you doing the conversion? If you are outputting composite, why not just use composite on the Avant? I wonder if somehow this is confusing something.

Link will get the main room. I would guess AV will get the 3000 though I have never tried this set up!

I would select Beolab 5. There probably is an upgrade though I doubt it will add anything important.

About 8 inches here - getting in and out of the drive is a little interesting - had to go for a hair cut so a bit of shovelling required! Picture taken a few days ago so about another 4 inches since!

You need the SCART. I actually had Sky HD fitted when I had my Avant and B&O fitted the BV10 later on. They fitted the HDMI but deliberately left the SCART. You need the SCART partly for control and also for link rooms I believe. You do need to make sure the HDMI is active for the BV7 though - you should notice if it not though as picture quality

I suppose it depends on how you have the speakers attached but I don't see any problem. Just set it up as a slave and you will be able to access both its sources and those in the main room.

I have all the B&O headphones - U70, Form 1, Form 2 and A8s and my recommendation is to buy some Sennheisser HD600s or Grado RS1s. They are simply in a completely different league. Of the B&O headphones, the Form 1s are probably the best - U70s have a very high resistance 140 Ohms compared to 35 for the Form 1s so do take more driving. U70s

I imagine the connection simply was disturbed to the midrange but you clearly know what you are doing. Hope it all works! Pleased to say my GT6 convertible is tucked up in its garage! About 8 inches of snow here!
