It looks well used - I guess that it's not the seller that has used it...
Also, I don't know if you'll be able to pick it up in the picture, but I didn't bother trimming the excess foam of the outer diameter. Also didn't seem necessary when the time came.
Where did you buy these foam-rings? A serious seller would have sold you some that fits perfectly for the CX, so you

Back in the early 90's I bought a Beosystem 4500 without the turntable, because I had a Beogram 3300. When I asked the dealer for a RIAA to put in the Beogram, I was told that I couldn't buy one for the Beogram -but instead I could buy a module to mount in the Beomaster. I did that -but later I sold the 4500 system and bought a Beocenter 9500
Btw, the Bang & Olufsen text on the Beovox flatpanels is originally not engraved. To much cleaning and you wipe it off This what I used and it (almost) looks the same as the original!
Ahem...You're right -I actually never gave it a closer look. I just ran my fingers over the letters and felt a slight

Very nice. Now you just need to find somebody who can do the engraving of "BANG & OLUFSEN" in the steel

The mondrian panels as beautiful as they are -are notorious for blemishing by just being looked at wrong.
DITTO. At the moment I am dealing with some old (~6 months) fingerprints left over from installation that I forgot to wipe off when I finished!
Yes -sometimes it's

Oh yes...Nice one. They did a few attempts back in the thirties. And so did B&O -think about the Hyperbo 5 RG. And the Beolit 39. But then came the 40's and 50's -where you couldn't tell the difference between radios from different companies -they were all ugly. Then -in the 60's B&O decided to use architects -and an industrial

Hi there. It's quite funny to think about, that once -back in the 60's, B&O and Philips had almost the same design. Here's a few examples from the early sixties: B&O Amplifier: -and a Philips receiver: Even the color of the front is the same... -and the former danish company Arena made radios in a similar design... Arena was taken
I think I like the touch panel and lights on the 1900 better than the 2400. At least that's my initial thought.
I tend to agree with you - I've liked the 1900 since the first time I saw it. But when the 2400 came out, I liked that even better. So I bought a 2400 back then. Years later I traded it with a 3300
