Sorry, what I meant was does the red button work on the actual Sky remote? Does it work on the Beo4 at all? Even if not for 'red button' style interactive features, if you go to TV guide, does the red button work for 'Anytime'?
-
Does it work using the Sky HD remote, rather than the Beo4/5? How you've connected it should make no difference to this.

Shamelessly copied from another thread, but it'd probably take me a week to find it and link you to it, so I might as well. The beginning of the serial will tell you the age: 09 - 1994 10 - 1995 11 - 1996 12 - 1997 13 - 1998/99 14 - 2000 15 - 2001 16 - 2002 17 - 2003/04 18 - 2004/05 19 - 2006/07 and so on
They don't offer a solution as such though. One user suggests playing around with scart and rf leads, which I don't use.
This is precisely the point - they don't use them. The solution is changing the output on RF1 / SCART to 4:3L, and miraculously the blue bars become black on the HDMI output
-
I'm fairly sure the BV7 can handle two input sources at a time (e.g. on STBs, it will happilly show HDMI images while a link room's watching the modulated SCART). I believe the issue is that the BM5 won't/can't output two signals at once.

It won't work unless you can get an SD and an HDMI output from the PS3 at the same time. You'll probably need an HDMI splitter and an HDMI->SCART/SD converter box. Not likely to be cheap!

Thanks Keith. I only have 1 link TV, but the main tv needs two feeds (for TV and DVB-T). Given the amount of splitting and combining I'd need to do (and signal losses incurred along the way), I think the RF Link Amplifier would be a far better idea! One final Q - I assume the 'return path' version will allow the 9V signal through to power
-
Hi Keith/All If I only have one link tv - is the link amplifier still necessary? I suppose what I'm asking is does the modulator output just modulate onto the existing TV signal, or does it just outpu the link tv signal? The main TV is a BV7.
-
It's almost certainly a software issue, so I very much doubt it.
