The Beogram 1902 has a 5-pin DIN plug and the Beomaster 2300 has a 7-pin DIN socket. The extra two pins are used by Datalink compatible products, the Beogram should work just fine with the 2300.

The RX2 and the 5000 is built on the same turntable. The few differences are that the 5000 has DataLink (allowing comunnication with a B&O master unit) and lighting built into the lid. Both turntables derive from the Beogram 1800-family.

Beolink 1000 worked great with my 5500 system, almost all functions are accable with the BL1000

Oh, I forgot to mention that the state of capacitors can vary a lot, which comes down to storage environment and how often they have been put through their paces.

Hello macgouft, Your system seems like a good combo, but I think that the S45.2 speakers can be a little thin sounding (not bad sounding), as they are "small" bookshelf speakers. I would recommend you to step up to Beovox S60 or S75. The two speakers are almost identical, the S75 being in a deeper enclosure. I have used S60's and S75's
