Hi Peter: Someone has alluded to that previously. My reason for buying one was simply that I wanted something that looked a bit obscure/nice. I do not know much about them. Could you tell me how I can figure out which ones are old and which ones are new and why the old ones are not worth having other than because they are old and more likely to break

Hi guys: Much to my annoyance there are now several Mermaid monitors for sale in the UK on eBay. They are not perfect but dirt cheap. Consdering I have gone to the touble of importing one and dealing with language barriers etc I am really not impressed. Graham

Hi: Does anyone have any experience positive or negative of the grey plastic bang & olufsen beo4 remote substitutes that are sold on eBay - I am getting an MX4000 for a relative but want to sell the Beo4 thus part-financing the TV. I know it won't look as good etc but as long as it turns the TV on, rotates it, changes channel/volume

Hi: My firend has exactly the same setup and it works perfectly. However, you would be advised to get an external hd for the media, this will place less of a demand on system resources. He also uses this setup for torrenting.

I am unsure if this will be the case as I haven't used one. However, I imagine that surfing the internet or reading text will be quite difficult on any CRT as the resolution is pretty poor. Thanks Graham
