I have both and, coupled with a small subwoofer, I prefer the 6000s. The sound and the design are better, IMO. But you need the sub. Frankly, the 4000 is better with a sub too. You can't go wrong with either. Just get a sub and then get whichever you like the design of better if you can't hear the difference.

That's still more expensive than a PV1 isn't it?

If the BL9 is indeed built in both places then that just proves what I and others posted before. You just can't tell the difference. Both places turn out quality product. Quick, everyone look at your speakers!
