Have any one on this site done any mapping of the BeoPlayer API to figure out how to interact with other Windows applications?

In the old forum there was a thread regarding Last.fm and the possibility to get it to run with BeoPlayer. Earlier it has been mentioned that BeoPlayer makes use of Windows Media Player when playing mp3 files and likely that it does.
