I guess the reason why we buy B&O is that, compared to other high-end material, it is more or less just "plug and play". What I like with BeoLab 5 is the same "plug and play" philosophy, the speaker calibrates itself, and eventually you'll spend more time listening to music, rather than finding the right speaker placement

Talking about integration between ML products and the new BeoNet devices, there's no mention at all about BeoNet connection/interaction in the new BS5 Encore's user & product guides.

Hi BeoWorlders, For those of you who are wondering what B&O has planned for us to replace the Masterlink system, here is a link I just found on the net: www.abo-center.dk/Abo.../Cat7%20New%20B&onet%20handbook.pdf We all know that BeoNet is on the way, however there's been little info about what's possible & how it works; I think

Well in that case most B&O products are gimmicky! Who needs doors on a BeoSound Ouverture? I am also waiting for motorized ALT lenses on home BeoLabs, it would make the speaker less "bizarre" when turned off, give it 2 different looks, keep the tweeter safe from dust and kids that can't help touching them, not to mention the cockroaches

Scrolling would be faster and easier if the Beo4 numbered keys could be used for alphabet letters, as we do on our cell phones when typing SMSs. Another suggestion for the next version maybe?

Why not? I saw this webpage already, but the download link doesn't work..not released yet maybe?

Hi BeoWorlders, I was wondering if anybody ever tried using BeoConnect with BeoPort only (= without a BeoMedia 1/BeoMaster 5): is it working at all? My idea was to use the Mac with Itunes with the same BeoPlayer/BeoPort logic when it comes to Beo4 control, that means have the same coloured "favourites" playlists, ability to have the audio

You can always play your CD on B&O's DVD players, that's probably what most people will end up doing, if they have/want no more BeoSound in their setup & don't rip their CDs.
