Thank you Ricardo! I believe dealers in the UK will have Serenata in their stores in a month or so. I met one at the weekend who was hugely excited about being one of the first to see it (you know who you are ), and was hugely impressed! A few of his customers also got a quick play and feedback was extremely good!

Definately. I would expect it to cost closer to €1300!!! The Serene retails at around £850 (€1200) in the UK, and I can't believe that Serenata could be any less, as it's twice as good, and has the added bonus of being a portable music player, too. However, I do think that if Bang & Olufsen break the £1000 mark they'll

Beolab: Serenata = Big and Clumsy with "transistor radio sound" It´s to big, to difficult to navigate when you are at the run, and it´s doesn't look so good either.. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with this point. It's smaller than my Nokia N73, uses practically the same interface as the iPod, and the sound from

Thank you Jazz, but it really was a pleasure to do!! It's only down to BeoWorld's members that things like this are becoming possible - Lee has put (and continues to put) a huge amount of effort into the site, and thanks to the support of the BeoWorlders, Bang & Olufsen have realised that we are a valuable source of information and feedback

Interesting to see that Keith hasn't configured the software to have the most used rooms nearer the base of the screen. I have been told that this was the idea, so the user wouldn't have to move his/her thumb too far!!!!
-
No word on when it's going to be released in Australia yet - UK should get it within the next month or so though. So proud to have been one of the first in the world to really give it a good thrashing - have read some other online reviews from biased sites who have obviously opened the box, looked at it, quoted some stats, said it's too expensive
-
In answer to your earlier question - yes - they're very expensive - over £200 for a new Coated Screen!
-
So do I!!! The most aggravating this is that I have one here now, but it has to go!!!

tslover7: The DVD's will not be a problem -- when I purchaed the unit I made sure that they "fixed" it to play DVD's from all regions! I really appreciate your help. Tom On some versions of Avant DVD multi-regioning the inbuilt DVD Player can result in the loss of CD Audio playback. It's probably worth giving yours a trial run
-
I don't mean to sound rude, but are you sure that you have correctly aligned the CD mechanism? It might be worth clicking through a few more calibrations to see if that makes a difference!
