Yeah postage is mental to Japan that is what has been putting me off the importing.

Hey guys I need a new system and I was bidding on a Beosystem 6500 in Japan and I didn't win. Sucks but I wasn't sure about the seller.I went to the B&O shop today to buy a BS4 and couldn't do it. I just want a Beosystem but I have been put off by the crazy shipping. About 150quid. I have decided just to take the hit as the yen is pretty

I didn't win the auction. The guy wouldn't answer my questions and it put me off. I just found out that the shipping costs from the UK is 95 pound for the Beomaster alone. I may have to buy something new for safety and easy of mind. Buying and shipping the Beogram and Beomaster will cost me about 100,000¥. I am thinking about the beosound

In the IT corwd S02E03 the German guy has a Beosystem in the background in his apartment. My GF and I play this game a lot on Japanese TV.

Sorry it is an auction. The are 21,000yen and finishes tomorrow night. I have a bit of spare cash and I think I will put 50,000 in and home for the best but it seems in good condition. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Yeah I am going on the fact that its broken. I asked them what cable they were missing and if all the units power up. And if the CD tray ejects. It seems risky but it is at 150 for the complete system. A beogram is 400 alone here if you can find one. Importing is expensive shipping wise. Are there any common problems with the Beomasters and Beograms

Also service! I took my A8s for repair to a store I have never been to before because my store closed. They didn't know me and I didn't have proof of purchase. They called the manager and told him my name and he remembered me. He confirmed that I bought them in summer 09 and agreed to warrant them until June no question asked.

At uni (2002), I started getting into hi-fi (a bug I caught from my father). I found myself with a nice(ish) sounding stereo in a small room that cost me about 1000 pound. I hated the amp and CD players design and didn't really care for the square boxes either side of my TV. I started hiding the system in a cupboard and crazy things to get away

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I found a good deal on a 6500 but it is listed as junk on a Japanese auction site. So if the vocab is strange that will be my translation. They said that they tested but they are lacking a specialist cable to test it but it does up power up. What would that "specialist cable" be? Powerlink? It is a
