  • Re: Sound settings on a beomaster 8000

I do have 2 Beomaster 8000 rosewood and white edition. I do not have MS150 but M150 speakers. I really never use the filter option as its not needed. Volume is 2.2 to 2.5. Any louder might get complains. When using loudness it goes away when the volume is turned up. At low level it does sound like to much bass but it depends on where youre speaker are

  • Re: What camera do you use?

Thank you. I must correct the shooting year on the top one as its from France 1982. The bottom is from Rom 1981. So it must be 2 different films but AGFA I can agree with that. Whatever my grandparents bought before they went on holiday. Back when my grandmother on moms side died she left alot of boxes of slides but we could not watch them in a big

[quote user="ChrDH"] I just bought a used Nikon F80 film camera(N80 in the US) with some zoom lenses, a flash and some filters for £100. At that price I simply could not resist, although I like and use my Nikon D50 alot. It is fun to be shooting film again, and not use half of the time looking at the lcd. Does anyone have experience

  • Re: Fully working?

Yes but the new owner will think he needs to change the whole cd unit unless he finds beoworld.

  • Re: M150's anyone?

How many years did I have mine so far???? 3 or 4 years I think. My favorite Beovox's of the pairs I got. They can handle any kinds of music and I can put Beomaster 8000 on flat settings. It sounds awesome. I'm waiting for white MS150 to turn up but these ones I'm going to keep forever!

  • Re: Unbelievable CDX

As my Beomaster 6500 has no sound through the outputs I have been using my white Beomaster 8000 and CDX/Beocord 9000 instead. I like my Beogram CD6500 but can't tell if the CDX sounds better or how much but it sounds warm and very nice on the ears regardless of the music. The achilles heel must be the left hinge. Any other B&O of the same age

  • Re: Capacitator replacement, when?

Depends on age. The Beovox S45-2 does not get foam rot like most of Beovox S,M, MS,C,CX,X (Worst sounding B&O speakers ever) Redline and Penta series. I also have a couple of those Beovox S45-2 from 1979 and they still sound very good. I do have S80.2, S120 and M150 + CX100. The S speakers had foamrot and Dillen fixed them including the capacitators

  • Re: beogram cdx player fault:2 on display.please help

Mine is still playing great since it was fixed for both left hinge and typical electronics which Dillen did have a look at. Only trouble these days is the display. The second number is shown wrong. It sounds awesome with either of my Beomasters be it 6000 or 8000.

  • Re: Flash your B&O!

Yes you can find Beomaster 8000 in white. This one came by accident by someone posting a link. For 50£ I went for it. Still works! I don't think it has ever been serviced at all.
