I wish I could read German, because the Google translation was a little confusing. That being said, to think (and even worse, write) that one person can lead a mature and progressive turnaround in a Scandinavian culture and in this economy any quicker/better than is being done at B&O, should not be a business columnist for a proper news service
The main problem, as i see it, is that B&O is currently in a similar position to Porsche of the early 1990's: Their costs of manufacture are too high. B&o is attractive, but too expensive in a fast-changing tech environment. In addition, their insistence on diluted and obscure product instructions (guides
The title of the thread says it all.
Actually it doesn't. My apple store knows nothing about arrival of beosound 8. And quit selling ear sets long ago. What's the real story?

Fellow brought a euro-spec Beomaster, CD7000, and Beocord (and an AV VCR thing), all circa 1990-1992, by my store the other day. While they looked brand new in black, as soon as I hooked Beomaster to a step-up transformer, it blew the transformer fuse, twice. In reparation I have dismantled my BeoWorld "Most Valuable Contributor" award and hope this will serve as sufficient demonstration of

Iphone and iPad headphone jacks are accessible. My memory comes and goes, but I recall beoport is an evolution of beolink active. And I am wrong less than 90% of the time.

Please note that you will need to specify the correct version of Beolink Active if you wish to make use of this option. This allows BS8 to play audio from any global Masterlink sources (eg. "Well I've been a Mac user exclusively for a few years now too, for all the right reasons IMO, but this latest flaw in iTunes is really, REALLY doing my nut in." Be cool young man, or you will soon think Prince Charles' last cab ride was a jog in the park. They are already lining up.
