You should investigate if your bv3 can control the apple tv as the puc exists and supports fast scrolling. Your bv3 might be able to be flashed with the new puc unless it's an older that uses a chip for stb control

I had a bv7 right from the mk1 and from what I can remember the first model or two the dvi was an input but later models it is an output for a projector You might want to check as your dvi might be the second output
