Thanks for the replies. Avant resolution seems to be the main sticking point. Armchair web browsing using a beo4 sounds appealing. How effective is it on an LCD screen? David

I am interested in viewing web pages on TV's and using the Beo4/BL1000 as a control. It seems the BM5/beomedia will do this but I'm not sure how it would work with an Avant DVD and MCL around the house. I assume it would connect via some kind of ML splitter shared with the 1611 converter at the back of the Avant and I would have to run an ethernet

It is lauded as a "Main room TV" but how does the sound quality/power output on this new panel compare with the MX/BV3/Avant? David

At the moment there's a large gap between 32 and 40 in the LCD range. I find my Avant 32 screen too small, but a 40" BV7 or 8 would either be too big for the room and/or too expensive. The answer is a BV6 based -37. This would close the gap in screen sizes and offer this beautiful looking TV as a main room solution. As for being affordable

I have a pair of S120's with this amp and it drives them surprisingly well. I also have CX50/Cona on a link. beautiful sound.
