    timhanna: gk31ax: timhanna: Personally, I wouldnt... some others can tell you technically why it shouldnt be flat. I think that things have less chance of shaking out of place if standing up. The original packaging is a good idea, but i think its like 100GBP for it, and many trees were definately killed in the making; storage is a nightmare for it.

  • Avant Purchase - some questions

    So managed to get hold of an Avant on ebay last night, 32 RF VCR with STB controller, so I'm very happy!! I know I've been on this forum long enough to know the answers, but I have a couple of questions and would like some suggestions: What's the best way to transport it? I'm thinking lots of duvets and pillows as Its about 150 miles
